B&K Offsetdruck now has reached the final for the German Druck&Medien Award as “Printer of the year. We are happy, that our innovations and continual development is not only rewarded by our clients, but as well from print experts.

This year again the direct marketing exhibition “Mailingtage” in Nuremberg was a big success for the sales team of B&K. A big number of clients had a warm welcome at our stand and the latest products were introduced to them.  A nice number of new contacts could be convinced of the cleverness of creative products.

Highlight of the event was the awarding for “outstanding achievement in category offset-mailing” for B&K. This was for the “chocolate mailing” which B&K produced for Haufe-Lexware. A mailing for all senses.

Playing field punctually at opening game in your letterbox

Especially for the football world championship Haufe-Lexware and B&K together developed a print and finishing “delicacy”.

A usual looking 4 pager folds when opened to a three dimensional playing field. But the players are not the German football team, but the software products from Haufe-Lexware.
This exceptional PopUp was sent to a very special target group via Postwurf-Spezial. A service from Deutsche Post, which B&K offers beside the pure production.

Nivea-advertising with die-cut shape for “Jogis Elf”

The issue 18 of the German football-magazin Sport-Bild attracted the audience with a special die-cut shape. The message to secure your official jersey from the German football association is strengthened by the shape of the football shirt.

Clinique booked a shutter-inbound for Woman & Home which was produced by B&K.
Flipping the flaps shows ideally the effect how to look “before and afterwards. Although there is more space for explanation and message on the inbound, than it would be on a usual 4-pager. Again, an advertising which attracts people.

Look through to the Carribean

Deutsche Telekom promoted their latest product „Entertain“ with a tailormade product.
The brochure offers on the title a look through a die cut window to a UV-spot-varnish area.
Again: printing, folding, die-cutting and varnishing inline in one go.

Change of logo clarified by „jet label“

Mail order group Otto point out the change of the logo of “brandneu” in the current spring / summer catalogue. B&K produced inline in web offset a so called jet-label. The client can just peel off the old cover and the new design is revealed.

Additional UV-varnishing unit for web offset installed

B&K installed a second UV-varnishing unit inline for web offset. Therewith it is possible to varnish one sided as well on the M600 presses. The variety of web-offset products with UV-varnish is remarkably enhanced. And the capacity for magazine and catalogue covers with UV-varnish is doubled.

60th International Calendershow in Stuttgart –
B&K product awarded

The Porsche „Historic-Calendar“ which was produced by B&K was awarded at the International Calendarshow in Stuttgart this year. The jury of the “Graphische Klub” reviewed more than thousand calendars according a lot of criteria. We are happy that they judged print and finishing as excellent as concept, design and photography.

Big year end finish for special products

For the December issue of the German TV-Magazines Hörzu und TV Digital B&K produced again advent-calendars.

The perfect interplay between print-quality, perforation, die-cut and register forced the publishers to order this product with us.

Shortly after this there was another opportunity for us to prove the high quality and accuracy of inline-production. An advertising of Union Investment opens a “door” for a seed money of 3 x 10.000,- Euro.

Slogan and paper-mechanic fit perfectly together.

The ad was published for all high quantity TV magazines in Germany.

Finally in Austria the first B&K Special Cover was launched

The December issue of the lifestyle magazine Seitenblicke attracts big interest with an outstanding cover. Sky TV Channel decided end of the year to use a sliding mechanic with lifting device to highlight the obsession of their advertising message.

Again a B&K product inspires readers in England

In both versions of Marie Claire – standard and compact -  a so called shutter-mechanic was used for Boss. Not only Boss was enthusiastic about the functionality oft he insert, but also the bookbinders could be convinced how easy this product was processed on their binding lines.

The big success oft he shutter mechanic is based on the curiosity of the readers. They deal remarkably longer and more intensive as with standard ad.
