SHEET-FED OFFSET:
THE TECHNIQUE OF CHOICE FORREFINED PRINTED MATTER
Optimum quality in straight printing and recto-verso
On our four sheet-fed offset printing machines, which can print up to 10/0 or 4/6 colours with dispersion coating at once, high quality job printing deliverables emerge, covers as well as magazines, catalogues, books, stickers and special products, in medium to high print runs. Here, by means of optical and haptic inline refinements with lacquers, special colours and punching, we let our colours burst.
Expressed in figures, this translates to:

Environment-friendly and resource-saving in all production stages
To protect our staff and the environment, consistent climate protection and sustainability are part of our self-understanding at B&K. This is also a top corporate priority of B&K. In our sheet offset printing, we bank on biodegradable materials and only print with mineral oil- and cobalt-free, non-toxic, ecological inks. We avoid volatile solvents (isopropanol) as much as possible, save resources like water and thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and consistently recycle all our production waste. Our new Heidelberger 10-colour sheet offset machine alone helps us lower our CO2 emissions by 44 tons a year.
Many B&K print products are certified with the „Blue Angel"
One of our top corporate goals at B&K is to produce ecologically without harming the climate. This also caters to our clients' wishes. In addition, B&K is certified with the „Blue Angel" for print products, by the FSC® C018278, the PEFC 04-31-1490 Schemes. Most of the paper used by B&K is environment-friendly and, among other things, made from wood that comes from demonstrably sustainable forestry.
In our sheet offset printing, we take particular care to optimize the inks we use for the biological recycling, thereby meeting the requirements of Citeo (a not-for-profit company created by merging Eco-Emballages and Ecofolio to reduce the environmental impact of plastic packaging and paper, see: citeo.com)
